About Us
Thiyagi Kumaran Charitable Trust
Thiyagi Kumaran Charitable Trust is a non-profit organization based in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, dedicated to transforming lives through food assistance, educational support, and medical care. Founded on the belief that “service to mankind is service to God,” we strive to create a just and compassionate society where no one is left behind.
The trust was established by a group of socially committed individuals who were deeply moved by the struggles of the poor and the underprivileged in their community. Named in honor of Thiyagi Kumaran, a symbol of selfless service and sacrifice, the trust began with small acts of kindness—sharing meals with the hungry, supporting a child’s school fees, or helping an elderly person access medicines.
Today, those small steps have grown into a full-fledged mission that has impacted thousands of lives across Vellore and its surrounding areas.

Food for the
Needy
We serve healthy and wholesome meals to the hungry, especially children, the elderly, and the homeless in and around Vellore. Hunger should never be a barrier to living with dignity.
Education for Every Child
We support the education of underprivileged children by providing school supplies, tuition support, and scholarships. Education is the most powerful tool for breaking the cycle.
Medical Aid & Awareness
Access to basic healthcare is a right, not a privilege. We organize free medical camps, distribute essential medicines, and raise health awareness in rural and urban slum areas.
